It's impossible without wattage meter or current meter because of Power supply efficiency which varies a lot.

I'm only aware of calculator apps that just tell you the max wattage that your system could eat up.
Not the amount of power used up. Because its not just that simple. Your PSU is supplying you with power,
    but how efficient is it?
A measuring device would be your best bet imo.

The only applications I can think of are the software that comes with most UPS's. Even then, a power meter would be more accurate.

  5. I know that power meter is the best way to go but i was thinking of something that could show me the same thing(no need for it to be precise) without me going to the store to buy it.

    My psu is 75%efficient.

I know that i got program that monitors how much power my cpu saves when power saving features are enabled.
    It came with my mobo.

No I meant the software that comes with most UPS's. Most of them can connect to your PC via USB and perform tasks like automatically shut down apps or the entire PC if your power goes out. The last 2-3 that I have owned also had monitoring software bundled with it.

Obviously if you don't have a UPS then this doesn't apply but its the only thing I could think of.

  7. I dont have UPS.I've been meaning to get one to stabilize the current.

    So im out of luck.

Can some one give me a rough assumption of what's the max power draw that my PC can make?

You can go to this site and put in your hardware and it will calculate it for you. I did a rough estimate based on the specs in your signature and at 100% peak load it will generate 484 watts.

If it's any help, my PC at idle uses about 210 watts. While gaming it uses about 430 watts. While benchmarking I've seen it go up as high as 500 watts.

  9. I did a recalculation of my PC there and it peaked 601W ant 100% utilization.
But im thinking its more about ~500w
I think that my PC idles at about the same wattage.

    Thanks man!
    Its a great site!

  10. Zalman has 2 Fan controllers with Watt meters

Just browsing the web atm my system is using 159w
